In Loving Memory of Kathleen M. Sullivan Kathleen M. Sullivan, 88, of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 8th, 2024. She was born on April 6th, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to James E. Lynch and Margaret M. Douville. Kathleen, affectionately known as "Kay Kay" to those closest to her, leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories. Kay dedicated fifty years of her life to nursing, a profession she pursued with unwavering dedication and compassion. Her commitment to caring for others touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her. Nothing brought Kay more joy than spending time with her beloved family and friends. She cherished every moment shared over dinners, outings, and gatherings, treasuring the laughter and camaraderie that filled those precious times together. Kay's loyal companion, her dog "Fifi," was a constant source of joy and companionship, brightening her days with unconditional love and happiness. She found simple pleasures in life, especially indulging in sweets and savoring the moments of tranquility spent in the company of her cherished pet. Kay is survived by her loving children: James (Terri) Carlson, John Sr. Carlson, Madonna Heinz, Regina (Bruce) Earl, David Carlson, and Annmarie (Gary Stier) Carlson. She also leaves behind her dear grandchildren: JD and Tami Carlson, John Jr. (Carrie) Carlson, Matthew (Alyssa Fuggiti) Heinz, Nicholas Heinz, Kathleen (Neil) Krinitsky, Bryan (Shannon) Earl, Brittany (B.J.) Patterson, and Aidan Carlson. Her cherished great-grandchildren, Jack and Charlie Carlson, Elle and Mae Heinz, Olivia and Maverick Krinitsky, Courtney and Wyatt Earl, and Bodhi and Tatum Patterson, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. In addition to her immediate family, Kay's memory will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Lynch and Margaret M. Douville, as well as by her siblings, James E., Harry R., Margaret Rose Bode, John F., and William. Kay's presence brought warmth, laughter, and unconditional love to all who crossed her path. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her kindness and grace. May Kathleen M. Sullivan rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and memories she created during her lifetime.
