Christopher David Vana was born March 6, 1959. He died on January 5, 2021 from stage 4 bladder cancer. He was a father, grandfather, son, brother, friend. Son of the late Richard T. & Marion R. Vana. Christopher is survived by children David (Heather), Nicholas (Nicole), Anthony, Stephanie & grandchildren Leona, Olivia, Jack, Joseph. He is also survived by siblings Craig (Cindy), Mariann (Paul), Roy (Barbara), Pam (Tom), Tim (Julie), Elizabeth (Bill), Ellen (Joe), Charlie (Jill). He is preceded in death by his brother Tom Vana (Mary-Karen).   Chris Vana was loved by many. He was an amazing athlete who thrived on the hockey rink and the baseball field, both as a player and as a coach. Friendly to anyone he met, everyone knew who he was. Full of life and vigor, he was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet, with one of the strongest hearts. He was a very intelligent man with a zest for life and love and will be missed dearly by everyone.   Due to COVID-19 restrictions we allow 10 people in the funeral at a time during the services.
