Ruben Vargas Cardenas, Age 89, of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Mr. Vargas Cardenas was born in Mexico on February 24, 1930 and entered into eternal rest Monday, December 23, 2019. Visitation for Ruben will be held at River Woods Funeral Chapels in Des Plaines, IL on Friday, December 27th from 2PM until 8PM. Folks are asked to meet at The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 1170 River Rd, Des Plaines, IL (entrance on Central Rd at River Rd) at 8:30AM on Saturday, December 28th. MASS at 9AM. Graveside services follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
